Seroxat tablet is an antidepressant that is used for the treatment of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. It contains Paroxetine as the active ingredient, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that works by restoring the balance of serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is a natural substance that can affect mood and may cause depression at below normal levels.
