Softin Tablet Uses

• Relieves sneezing, runny nose, and nasal itching caused by pollen or dust

When Not to Use Softin

• Patients with a known allergy to loratadine, desloratadine, or any inactive ingredient in the tablet must not use Softin.
• Softin must not be given to children under 2 years of age in any form
• Patients currently taking another antihistamine must avoid Softin without consulting a doctor first
• Softin is not suitable for treating a severe allergic reaction or anaphylaxis; epinephrine is required in such emergencies

Risks and warnings

How to use Softin Tablet 10mg?

How Much to Take

• Adults and children over 12 years: 10mg once daily
• Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5mg once daily or as directed by a doctor
• Children under 6 years: Not recommended unless prescribed by a doctor
• Kidney or liver impairment: 10mg every other day is advised
• Maximum daily dose: 10mg in 24 hours — taking more does not increase effectiveness

How to Take It

• Can be taken with or without food
• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water
• Take at the same time each day for consistent allergy control
