Onset of relief after injection is faster than with an oral tablet, which is why it is commonly kept as an option in emergency and outpatient procedure settings.

Rare but serious hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis, have been reported with injectable phloroglucinol, so it is given under medical supervision with facilities to manage an allergic reaction available. A slow injection rate is generally recommended to reduce the chance of a reaction.

How to use Spasfon Injection?

• Given by slow intramuscular or intravenous injection by a healthcare professional

• Sedatives: May add to drowsiness when combined with Spasfon Injection
