Tanzo Injection Uses

Tanzo injection is a penicillin antibiotic used for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections like urinary tract infection, skin infections, pneumonia, and gynecological infections. Tanzo is a combination medicine containing Piperacillin and Tazobactam as the active ingredients.

Piperacillin is a penicillin antibiotic, which is given to treat infections caused by bacteria. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of the cell wall of the bacteria. Tazobactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor - a drug that protects piperacillin from bacterial resistance. Piperacillin/tazobactam is often a drug of choice to treat bacterial infections.

Generally, Tanzo injection is well tolerated. However, you should know its risks and warnings so that you do not take it when the risk is greater than the benefit.

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant, do not take Tanzo injection unless your doctor advises it. It can affect your baby's health. Breastfeeding mothers should also consult with a healthcare provider before taking it.

• Allergies
