How to use Trulicity injection 1.5mg?

• Inject once weekly, any day of the week, at approximately the same time each week
• Can be taken any time of day, with or without food
• Inject subcutaneously into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm
• Rotate injection sites with each dose to reduce skin irritation
• Each pen is single-use and must be discarded after one injection
• If a dose is missed, inject as soon as possible within 3 days of the missed dose

Drug Interactions

• Insulin and Sulfonylureas: Combined use increases the risk of hypoglycemia, dose adjustment of insulin or sulfonylurea may be needed
• Oral Medications: Dulaglutide slows gastric emptying, which may affect absorption of oral drugs that require rapid GI absorption
• Warfarin: Closer INR monitoring is advised when starting or adjusting dulaglutide in patients on warfarin
