How to use Voltex SR Tablet 100mg?
- Take one tablet at the time advised by your doctor, usually once or twice daily
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, without crushing or chewing it
- Take with food or milk to lower the chance of stomach upset
- Do not exceed the dose or duration recommended by your doctor
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine
Drug Interactions
Voltex SR can interact with several common medicines, so share your full medication list with your doctor.
- Blood thinners such as warfarin: increases the risk of bleeding when combined with diclofenac
- Other NSAIDs or aspirin: raises the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding
- ACE inhibitors, ARBs and diuretics: diclofenac can reduce their blood pressure lowering effect and add strain on the kidneys
- Lithium: diclofenac can raise lithium levels in the blood, increasing the risk of toxicity
- Methotrexate: combined use can raise methotrexate levels and side effects
