Xyloaid ointment is used as local anesthesia, to prevent and relieve pain during certain medical procedures and it is also used to numb the lining of the mouth, throat, or nose before certain medical procedures.

How to use Xyloaid Ointment 5% 20g?

It is applied at the start of the procedure and takes 3-5 minutes for the numbing effect to occur.
Adults can apply to the affected area 3 or 4 times a day.
In children the dose is based on body weight and must be determined by your doctor.
Do not use this cream if you are allergic to this medicine or its contents.
If you have a medical history of blood pigmentation disorder known as porphyrias, do not use this medicine.
