Acid Reflux

I wanted to ask about my husband 's problem. He has very bad acid reflux especially when he eats butter so he has started avoiding butter but the problem is still there. He can't have lemon orange juices when he eats something he complains that his food is not digested even after many hours. He even went to gasterenologist but still not effect.. Kindly help what is the problem exactly?

Dear Patient,

Citrus foods increase acidity and hence the juices didn't suit him.
Do a test: stool for H pylori antigen. And see a gastroenterologist with reports. Meanwhile take 1 tablet Zantac 150mg twice a day before meals. Avoid spicy n oily foods. Walk for 15-20mins after meals. Eat only homecooked foods that are easily digestible. Write back to us in one week if things don't improve.
