Anger issues medicine

Asked for Male, 39 years

Patient has been prescribed lament 25 mg ( not for epilepsy) for anger, two days to tablet, headache, flu-like heaviness in ears, slight pain in eyes, even absurd feeling in throat, will symptoms subside with continuing usage? Or is it better to stop the medicine? Medicine is taken at night. Flux 20 is taken in the morning.

Dear Patient,

You cannot abruptly discontinue this medication as the symptoms would get worse. I would recommend you consult your psychiatrist again to switch your medicines. If you can tolerate the symptoms and they seem mild then give your body a week or two to adjust. Flux is a well-tolerated medicine.
