Antibiotic for baby

My 9.5 month old got ear infection,throat infection and congetion and fever is on antibiotics and not on any top feed only cerelac and daal rice potato but baby is not taking any of these beause of irritation and fever only on mother feed. Is there any problem while giving antibiotic if she is not taking any other food only mother feed? what food should I give in this condition??

Dear Patient,

Its okay if the child is unwell and doesnt want foods. You can make soft foods like sagoodana/oats in milk, soft potato mash but if child doesnt like it its okay. The breastmilk changes during illness to fight the child’s infection. Avoid oily and spicy foods and outside foods completely. If the child prefers fruits and vegetables or warm yakhni, thats ok as well.
