Baby sleep issues

My baby is 9 months old. He sleeps very less. Still, he doesn't sleep in long 8 hours. Since birth, he has some sleep issues. He wakes up after 3 to 4 hours in the middle night and then remains awake for the next 4 hours. Is there any deficiency links to his disturb sleep pattern?

Dear Patient,

Thank you for your query. Some kids sleep a lot, others sleep extremely little. Some kids sleep more in day, some more at night. Children just have their own habits and ways of getting used to things. I cannot say if he has any deficiencies without seeing him myself.

Make sure to give him a nice massage and a warm bath before bed, change him into soft and comfortable clothes and keep the room dark and cool for the child. Make sure to minimize any noise as well. See if this routine helps him sleep better.
