Banyan Cyst

My friend was diagnosed with a banyan cyst in her brain as she was having severe headaches. She was suggested a dose of very high potency. It becomes unbearable for her sometimes so my question is what could be done to overcome this condition? What precautionary measures should be taken into account?

Dear Patient,

Unfortunately, there's not much we can tell you about this. A benign cyst means a minor collection of fluid in a sac in the brain. This is although small/minor but is not normal so it causes pressure on the surrounding areas of the brain and is causing a headache due to it.
The neurosurgeon specialist who diagnosed it can perhaps suggest medications to prevent this and precautions as well. When such cysts cause severe symptoms n arent controlled with meds then they may be removed by surgery/radiation or drained with shunts.
