Chronic Coughing

My husband suffers from chronic coughing. We did use cough drops and syrups but they had not much of an effect. What can I do help him?

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you tried to find out the reason for his chronic cough? Does he smoke, does he have allergies, what kind of work does he do? When did the coughing start? Does he have any fever or sputum in cough? Have you got any sputum test or chest x-ray? Kindly take him to a specialist for this
