Clot of mucus

My problem is that i always have a clot of mucus in back of my nose/ throat which comes out very difficult and later after clearing, it appears again after sometime. I always have to clear my throat. It’s very discomforting. Any spray or tube that an ENT can recommend me for covering this clot

Dear Patient,

There are lots of manual nasal vacuum pumps available at any good pharmacy to pump out the nasal clots for children. You can try those. Although use it with caution as the nose has many superficial blood vessels, when we use any rough object inside these may burst the blood vessel and cause severe bleeding. Alternatively you could meet with an ENT in clinic so he can examine you and find the reason for this repeated clot formation.
