Constipation and Gas

I was having constipation for weeks now. I used duphalac syrup after which pain in my chest appeared. I reduced duphalac syrup intake, chest pain is subsidized but now I gassy all the time. Anything to help?

Dear Patient,

Take 1tbsp ispaghol husk in half glass of warm milk with 1tsp honey daily before bed. This should relieve your constipation. Take no more than 30ml of syrup duphalac at night, Duphalac is just medical sugar syrup.
If you are having excess burps you can take 1tbsp gaviscon before meals. If you are having excess farts and uneasy stomach take 1 tablet colofac before meals.
