Diarrhea problem

I was having diarrhea for a while. It never gets properly treated and always come back. This time with revenge. I visited my Doc he said for ERCP. I read online about it and looks like its a complex procedure. I was wondering if there is some other test to know the cause of my problems?

Dear Patient,

With your long history, it's important to find out the cause behind it. ERCP is indeed a complex procedure but it will help find out if there's any swelling in your digestive tract, ulcers etc that are causing these issues of constant diarrhea. Once diagnosed it can be treated in detail to avoid lifelong complications. Discuss your concerns with your gastroenterologist but moving forward you may need to consider ERCP.
