Ear infection

My son has an ear infection since last year. The doctors said there is water in the middle ear, and because of that, he is not able to listen to low pitch voices. He has no ear discharge from any of the ears. Last year, he got an allergy and flu, which lasted for about two weeks. After this, he started having the hearing difficulty. He used to get allergy and flu on and off, but this is the first time that he has an ear problem. Please suggest what to do

Can you please show us a photo of his medications that the doctor recommended for middle ear?
Actually, the middle ear is sealed by the eardrum so till the fluid is drained naturally the infection will persist and be a source of discomfort. We are unable to assess your son for ourselves so we would recommend you to visit an ent for further analysis and a second opinion on the issue.
It's also worth exploring why he has allergies so often? is it genetic or is there something in his environment causing this? You could see a medical specialist for this problem.
