Ear Problem

Last year a cotton bud was stuck in my left ear and I didn’t take it seriously and in result it got embedded with eardrum. For removal I had go for painful vacuum suction process. Now I having problem in right ear I mean less listening power. My question is the left ear problem can cause problem in right ear or is because of something else? Is this possible because of left ear problem?

Dear Patient,

Although we cannot be sure as to what the problem is without having a look inside your ears and some tests, however, I do not believe the two problems are related. The left ear isn't causing the right ear problem in my opinion. Kindly see an ENT at the earliest. It may just be some ear wax that is causing this and needs to be removed or it could be something more concerning.
