Fibrotic Liver

Sister of my maid is diagnosed with the fibrotic liver. Medicine given are just some pain relievers and risek. Please tell me if it is something serious. As per my maid, she has blood coming out of her mouth.

Dear Patient,

Liver fibrosis needs to be staged. It's a serious illness often in hepatitis B or C patients. It means the liver has started scarring and is damaged and not functioning as well. Blood from the mouth can be expected. She needs blood testing for viral markers and treatment. I'm attaching an article you can read below.
