Graft Problem

Writing for Some one He had a Heart by-pass six years ago & he got a little pain in heart recently, He went for checkup and doctor said you had a three graft, two grafts are perfectly fine but one graft need to fix. Please let me know possible solution for graft fixation

Dear Patient,

What the doctor means is that the patient had three blocked arteries then which were replaced (taken from arm/legs) to restore blood flow. Two of these are working fine (like pipes), but one is blocked. They will do an angioplasty and ballooning to try fixing this during Angioplasty. Hopefully, this would fix the problem. A cardiac surgeon will be the best person to discuss any other options and treatments. You can meet his previous surgeon or look for one on our main page
