Hypertensive for last 5 years Taking losartan K BD, it was OK. but now the drug is not working. BP ranges 170/110 sometimes Plz prescribe some med. (Non diabetic, non sedentary)

Im sorry to hear this. Sometimes a few years later BP medicines are not as effective and a medicine needs to be added or the current ones changed. What dose of losartan were you taking? How many mg(s)? How often is your bp 170/110? Can you share a morning and afternoon chart of bp for 7 consecutive days? Is it possible for you to visit a cardiologist near you?
