Itchy Eyes

From the last few days, my left eye is quite itchy. Is it because of sitting too much in front of the laptop (I usually spend 8-9 hours daily in front of the laptop as I work in a IT company)? I also travel on the bike and a lot of dust particles go into my eyes, I'm not sure if they remain inside and causing this pain or they got out of my eyes in the form of liquid? Kindly suggest some remedies?

Dear Patient,

I'm sorry to hear that. Its best to rest your eyes every 30mins for 5-10mins when using laptop. Put softeal eyedrops in your eye thrice a day, one drop in each eye. When you get home put splashes of clean cold water on your face and eye. Make sure to not touch your eyes a lot. If there's redness, swelling puffiness, etc then you should see an eye specialist.
