Nose Bleeding

Dear Patient,

Please please do NOT under any circumstance use cotton bud or a nasal suction bulb to clean nose. Superficial blood vessels near the nose will immediately bleed.
At such times apply cold water/ice and immediately pinch the nose for 20mins. If bleeding doesn' stop after the constant pressure for 20mins please go to the ER.
If he has a stuffy nose put two drops of norsaline P in each nostril esp before sleep, give steam with hot water and cloves- do not put the child face directly above, keep the hot pan in a small room at a distance from him and give steam 2-3times/day.
