Pain after Molar extraction

I had 3rd molar extraction 4 days back, it was horizontal, after an hour of extraction severe pain started which became bearable after taking medicine, it remained effective for 3, 4 hours, after that again the pain started, I again visited the dentist & he did some sort of filling in the wound, 24 hours was good, now from last night I again have that persistent pain. Plz, tell me what is the reason for this pain? And how will it subside?

I'm sorry to hear that. Your dentist can view your mouth and then give a better response as to why the pain is there- there might be an infection or food stuck in that area causing this. You can gargle with warm water or with Listerine mouthwash thrice a day to help pian relief. Which medicine are you taking for pain relief?
