Pain near Adams Apple

There is pain under Adam's apple a little to the left. I have a history of acid reflux. There is a pain in the throat with acid reflux. I did see an ENT about two years ago. Everything was fine except for swollen vocal cords due to the acid reflux. I also had thyroid studied and bloodtests about two years ago and all were fine. I take Omezol twice daily. I do miss a dose here and there and I am not regularly though. I have had some pain in the jaw. There is no apparent swelling. Please help.

Dear Patient,

I believe you need to review with the ENT again to make sure your cords are healthy and ok. GERD can often cause damage to cords and throat and this may be the reason for your pain. Consider getting a 40mg omezol if using 20mg now. Thanks.
