Patch in Mouth

I noticed a thickened, hardened white patch in my mouth today. It is on the inside of my right cheek. It doesn't burn or hurt like normally mouth ulcers do. The white patch is not smooth, and rough to touch and feel. I tried rubbing and cleaning with toothbrush and it wouldn't go away. What it could be and does it need medical attention?

I'm not sure as to what it is but I would like you to attach a photo of it and notice if it bleeds or has a discharge. Do you socially drink/smoke/take paan/chalia/naswar or any other social drug? I need you to answer these questions comfortably and with complete honestly so I may help you more.
I would strongly recommend seeing an ENT specialist. however, due to technical difficulties, I can't recommend one here. Please find one at a reputable hospital.
