Pimples in Earlobe

Asked for Male, 27 years

I have been getting pimples on my ear from the past many years. Now, sometimes they have pus but most of the times they just occur for a few days and go. There is no such intense pain. But they form all around my ears, most times (inside) earlobe. My earlobe would feel like hard ball when i touch it. Currently it's behind the ear so I cannot get a clear picture. What should i do? Should i consult a doctor or get it operated?

Please answer some questions so we can help your further. Does the hardball slip when you touch it? Does it seem attached to skin like one layer or is the skin freely lying over it? Is this accompanied with any flu/ear bloackage/loss of hearing temporarily or ringing in ears? Is the pimple smooth externally or has a head which leaks pus?
If possible please attach a clear picture. Have you tried applying polyfax to it? These may be lymph nodes or pustular boils. In either case, its best to show a specialist for a checkup. An operation may not be needed at all.
