Receding gums

I had scaling done in the begining of year 2017, now I have no issues with plaque / tartar etc... BUT i have receding gums and the situation is quite alarming. Please suggest a solution for receding gums. Thanks (Ever since my scaling, I have been brushing after EVERY meal and I think over brushing might be the reason)

Using a medium sized toothbrush you can brush your teeth after every meal using GENTLE pressure and not hard force. I would recommend you to continue brushing with light hands and use mouthwash and floss as needed as receding gums are a sign of poor dental care.
