Sore Throat and Body Pain

I had severe sore throat and body pain. I had visited a doctor and after the visit, there is a little sore throat but the problem is extreme throat irritation (itch like) and cough. I have been using Rondec syrup and Banafsha Shehtoot syrup and Strepsils for irritation but doesn’t work. Please suggest me what to do. I am so tired of this coughing and throat itchiness that due to coughing, I have pain in ribs as well
