Speech Therapy

My son will turn 3 in January and he doesn't talk properly, he starts the conversation and after couple of words he starts his gibberish. Dr suggested speech therapy in April this year but we wanted to give him some time as we speak Urdu, English and pushto at home. We plan to put him in school for couple of months initially to see whether he starts to talk properly with other children and if he doesn't then will start speech therapy. Please guide on this. Thanks.

Dear Patient,

Yes, I believe trying to school and then speech therapy is a good idea. Also absolutely omit phone/tablets screen time from his routine. Take him to interactive places like the park, play areas, owls nest etc where he can meet and play with other kids and learn speech more.
