Sticky and Yellow Discharge

Aoa, my daughter who is nine months old, since birth one of her eye is kind of messy, and sticky with yellow discharge, most docs say massage her tear duct, but I have done that and it's not getting better, what should I do

Dear Patient,
If the below tips dont help along with tear duct massage for five days then you MUST consult an eye specialist to clear any infection with this.Every morning use warm drinking water and dip 6 small clean pieces of cotton in it. Now take one piece and squeeze it tight and with one firm sweep clean one eye from the nasal end to outer end. Now do this with two more pieces of cotton. You can repeat this thrice a day or every time the dirt appear. If it doesn't work you will have to buy tobrex eye drops but only after asking an eye specialist.
