Stool Problem

Aoa my daughter is 2 months old MA. She is passing stools after every feed with a voice as someone passes the motion. Her stool is sometimes a very little watery but mostly sticky and smelly. She is spitting bubbles from 2 to 3 days. The stool color is green. She is on mother feed but takes one feeder daily. She is a gassy baby, is taking colibid drops with every feed as well as procolic drops once a day. She is active but cries alot. Kindly tell.

Dear Patient,

Has this always been the case since birth? Are her stools always as frequent and often liquidy? If yes then you need not to worry. Kids digestive tract is weak and often they urinate and defecate together hence the sound and consistency. If the stool has threads or clots of blood then immediately save that pamper and take it with you to your nearest child specialist for an opinion. Otherwise, this will settle itself over some months.
