Swollen Gums

Hi i have this extreme facial pain on my left side that is radiating from the upper gums to the facial bone around the nose, eye socket and goes to the head. I am 17 weeks plus. Have been told it is sinus infection plus the gums are swollen (not bleeding). Checked by the dentist, and she did scaling at that spot (upper left corner teeth). Two days, no difference and as per their suggestion, started cefspan 400 mg once a day (been two days). The pain is still there, quite intense.

Dear Patient,

Use Enziclor mouthwash to gargle your mouth after every meal. Also use warm water and salt to gargle 2-3times/day. Continue medications as per advice. Cloves reduce pain and swelling of teeth so you can keep it in mouth and suck on it like candy. This will help relieve you. We cannot suggest strong medications during pregnancy. If pain persists you can see a dentist again.
