Thraot Problem

Asked for Male, 41 years

My husband has a throat problem since very long, blood comes out with cough whenever he speaks loud I.e shouts, or after eating any bakery biscuits. Done esophagoscopy in the UK and was told that it's acidity that causes this. And was given omeprazole. He used it for a while but the problem remains the same. Please advise.

I'm so sorry to hear that. This sounds unusual. What does he take in his diet? Does he smoke etc? Have you met with an ENT and chest specialist? They may guide you better about this issue. Also i would recommend warm gargles with salt and water twice a day. See if this lifestyle change helps. Avoid cigarette smoke.
