Tooth Removal

I want to know if I have two teeth removed from the sides due to overcrowding and have braces for 2 years, will the 2 year time period be sufficient to close the gap due to the removal of the 2 teeth? Will it create gaps in my front teeth too? I am pretty confused regarding my braces treatment.

Dear Patient,

In my experience, it normally is sufficient gap that can be covered(time period may be longer than the doctor has initially said) and you will have to be vigilant about retainers after as well. The teeth the dentist suggested to remove are milk teeth? They are at the back or front of the mouth? I will suggest meeting with one of our dentists for a second opinion.
