Urination problem

I take mycophenolate mofetil 1000 mg twice a day. I am having a problem urinating and sometimes severe stomach pain also. Can I stop taking it or is there some alternative? Please suggest.

Dear Patient,

Why have you prescribed this medicine? To my knowledge this medicine suppresses organ rejection, have you undergone any organ transplant recently? If yes then you will have to ask your doctor before discontinuing it. Are you sure your problem is due to this medicine and not anything else? Perhaps you should consult a urologist. You may have some renal stone or infection causing this.
