Yellowish Water in eyes

My daughter age 6 months has an eye issue by birth. Every time her eyes is full with stinky material and running water , I have visited many eye specialist ,they only recommend eye massage , according to doctors ,the eye ducts are block and will be opened only with massage ,last option is surgery. Pls recommend

Dear Patient,

In some infants, the lacrimal duct is blocked at birth. Fortunately, that is treatable. Massage of the nasal side of eye 10 times with little finger directed from above to downwards is to be done 4 times a day. Mostly, ducts close spontaneously in a couple of months but if they don’t then surgery to open the duct is advised. It is better to see a good eye specialist for proper treatment.
