I've been practicing orthodontics with braces and aligners for more than 18 years now and I've seen that with each generation, the complexity of cases changes, with that bearing in mind I have to stay well-informed with my orthodontics knowledge which includes learning new procedures, devices and methods to move teeth according to the patient needs. All the practices I work follow a strict criterion which includes, proper sterilization, a well-trained staff, a clean clinic and a one which has the best machinery and the newest machines. I graduated in Dec 2003 and have the Specialist Qualifications in Orthodontics from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh UK all gained through examinations. Currently I am Professor and Head at the Department of Orthodontics, at PIMS, Islamabad. Through the years I have treated innumerable patients with varying degree of complex problems, from simple malocclusion needing only orthodontic intervention to complex dentofacial deformity cases requiring functional appliance and orthognathic surgeries. I have also been involved in numerous clinical research projects and have numerous publications in national and international peer reviewed journals. I have also had the honor to be an invited speaker multiple times in the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) and European Association of Orthodontics conferences which are highly esteemed in the orthodontic world.
