About Prof. Dr. Rizwan Aziz
Prof Dr Rizwan Aziz has recently joined as Professor of Surgery at Islamabad Medical & Dental college, Islamabad in July 2021. Before moving to Pakistan and joining IMDC, he was serving as Consultant General, Laparoscopic & Colorectal Surgeon at NHS UK where he has worked at state-of-the-art hospitals in Manchester and Yorkshire for many years. Apart from his clinical commitments, Dr Rizwan Aziz had additional role as Clinical Teacher at Hull York Medical School. He was also Clinical & Educational Supervisor for trainee doctors in United Kingdom. During his professional career and before moving to England, he has worked for few years in well reputed centres in Pakistan and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) as Senior Registrar, Clinical teacher and Examiner for under-graduate students.
