Bio

Dr. Khaleeq Uz Zaman is an incredibly well-seasoned neurosurgeon and is fairly well known in Islamabad. Although he has spent many years working as a neurosurgeon, his work as a researcher and teacher is also very significant as he has written at least 17 different research papers. These papers include medical research as well as an overview of postgraduate medical training in Pakistan.

Qualifications

Dr. Khaleeq Uz Zaman completed his MBBS and then went on to receive other qualifications. He has also completed his LRCP from Peshawar. He further received his MRCS (ENG) and his DCPS (HPI). He is a member of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).

Experience

Dr. Khaleeq Uz Zaman has over 31 years of experience and thus an expert in his field. He is currently working at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Services (PIMS) as well as in Ali Medical Center in Islamabad as a consultant neurosurgeon.

Activism

Dr. Khaleeq Uz Zaman has raised awareness on neurological issues throughout the duration of his career. He was once on the news speaking about a case of conjoined twins and how safe it was to operate on them and the risks that the procedure involved. In another video, he also spoke about how most neurological issues do have some sort of treatment available so patients should most definitely see a doctor when issues arise.
