Dr. Aamer Nisar Share Profile

Dr Aamer Nisar has a highly qualified senior orthopaedic surgeon. Having graduated from King Edwards Medical University, he moved to the UK where he had the opportunity to work in some of the most renowned institutes in the world. He gained his FRCSorth and CCT after completing his orthopaedic training in Sheffield. He furthered his experience with fellowships from Glasgow and Imperial College London. He was awarded travelling fellowships by the British Orthopaedic Assocation and had the opportunity to work at Mayo Clinic, Rochester and Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, USA. A further fellowship award from AO International in Trauma and Reconstruction gave him the chance to work in centre of excellent at Vancouver, Canada. He was appointed a consultant at Hull University Hospitals in 2013. He was also a Senior Lecturer with Hull York Medical School, and the Department of Medical Engineering, at Hull University. He was in teaching faculty of a number of various courses and meetings, and has participated extensively in europe as well as the USA. Dr Aamer has published a number of scientific papers and contributed to postgraduate books. He is available for consultation from Monday to Saturday.
