Prof. Dr. Tariq Zaman

Prof. Dr. Tariq Zaman received his MBBS degree from the prestigious King Edward Medical College, Lahore and holds an MCPS and FCPS in Dermatology. He obtained post-graduate training at the Dermatology Department of Mayo Hospital which is affiliated with King Edward Medical College Lahore. Dr. Zaman research credentials include twenty-six Research Publications. He received Two Gold Medals for best research paper and has special interests in Clinical & Academic Dermatology, Skin Manifestations of Systemic Diseases, Medical Education, Clinical Research and Biostatistics. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in clinical dermatology and more than sixteen years of experience in teaching dermatology to undergraduate & postgraduate students. He provides consultation for diagnosis & management of diseases of Skin, Hair & Nails along with consultation for routine care of healthy Skin, Hair & Nails. He also provides consultation for venereal / sexually transmitted diseases Prof. Dr. Tariq Zaman also performs diagnostic & therapeutic dermatology procedures for example electro-cautery, cryosurgery, epilation, skin biopsy, intra-lesional injections, fungal scrapping & KOH smear, etc. He is currently the Head of Department of Dermatology Department at Fatima Memorial Hospital and is a Professor at the FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry.
