About Prof. Dr. Jamshed Nasir

Prof. Jamshed Nasir received his MBBS degree from Army Medical College, Rawalpindi; He received his post-graduate training from the Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute (AFPGMI) and Moorfield Eye Hospital in London. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd), the Faculty of Surgical Trainers (FFSTEd AM), College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) and also a Member of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. His area of interest in Ophthalmology is the anterior segment with particular interest in the premium IOL surgery for cataract. Medical Education and development of medical education and training on the lines of medical education is another area of interest which he applying for the under graduates and the post graduate medical students. Prof. Jamshed Nasir is the head of department of Ophthalmology at Fatima Memorial Hospital and is the Vice Principal – admin affairs at FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry.
