Dr Mian Asim Masood is a consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist who had done his training in medicine and Gastroenterology from Shaikh Zayed Hospital , Lahore , one of the pioneer and best institute catering digestive and liver diseases. He then joined Liver and Transplant unit at Shaikh Zayed Hospital Lahore and worked there for 2 years before moving to Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and research Center. At PKLI he had done specialty training in Transplant Hepatology. He had completed his advanced interventional endoscopy training from there as well. He is also certified by European Board in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is also a member of the American college of Gastroenterology. Additionally he is seeing patient at his home town Burewala every week and runs an institute Liver & Digestive Care which is helping people of the periphery from last 8 years
