What is Knee Replacement?
A knee replacement is a surgical method whereby the diseased knee joint is replaced with artificial material. The knee is a hinge joint that gives motion at the point where the thigh meets the lower leg. The femur (thighbone) abuts the large bone of tibia (the lower leg) at the Knee.
