Dr. Javed Iqbal is the first Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon of Pakistan with more than 30 years of experience. He got his higher surgical training in the specialty of Pediatric Orthopedics from renowned centers in the UK & Ireland, Our Lady’s. Hospital for Sick Children Dublin Ireland, Alder Hey Children Hospital Liverpool UK and Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, UK. He worked in the UK at various positions including consultant surgeon. He has further exposure as a visitor Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon from international leading centers of Pediatric Orthopedic. These include Boston Children Hospital Harvard University USA, Royal Children Hospital Melbourne Australia, National University Hospital Singapore, Birmingham Children Hospital UK and Sydney Children Hospital, Australia.Prof. Javed Iqbal Chairman Scientific Session, Delivering Lecture at Pediatric Orthopedic Conference Tokyo JAPAN He established first Pediatric Orthopedic Center in Pakistan at The Children’s Hospital, Lahore where he worked as a Professor of Pediatric Orthopedics and Head of Department for 17 years. He spearheaded the Pediatric Orthopedic movement in Pakistan leading to Pediatric Orthopedic Society. He delivered more than 600 lectures on various topics of Pediatric Orthopedic within the country and abroad.
