About Dr. Irfan Ahmed

Dr. Irfan Ahmed is one of the leading Consultants in the field of Urology and Uro-Oncology, with more than 25 years of experience in Urology including 10 years in Uro-Oncology. After completing his medical education from King Edward Medical College, he completed his training in Urology from UK. After training and practice in UK, he spent approx 9 years in Saudi Arabia working which also includes working in Uro-Oncology at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh. Later he worked as Consultant Uro-Oncologist at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Lahore for 8 years, performing advanced Uro-Oncological surgeries for patients requiring such treatment. He specializes in early treatment and surgery of bladder and prostate cancer, nephron-sparing surgery for kidney cancer and excision of residual retroperitoneal disease in testicular cancer.His main interest is management of early Bladder and Prostate Cancer with Radical surgery and reconstruction. Currently, he is Consultant Urologist & Uro-Oncologist, heading the Urology group at Horizon Hospital, located in Johar Town, Lahore.
