About Dr. Aftab Alam
After completion of house job from Lady Reading Hospital and Khyber Teaching Hospital , Peshawar in 2002 Dr. Aftab Alam then joined RMI as a Medical Officer in Cardiology. He then moved to UK in 2003 for further training and qualifications. He did his foundation (F1 & F2) training from United Hospital Trust, NHS UK. He worked as a SHO in cardiology in NHS UK and then as a registrar in cardiology at Manor Hospital NHS and PAH trust of Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital NHS , where he gained a lot of practical skills in general and interventional cardiology. He completed his MRCP (UK) in 2010. After getting more than 10 years of experience in UK Dr Aftab Alam then joined RMI.
