How to use Alphagan eye drop?

• Wash hands before using the eye drop.
• Tilt the head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket.
• Place one drop into the affected eye as directed by the doctor.
• Close the eye gently for one to two minutes without blinking hard.
• Wait at least five minutes before using any other eye drop.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface.

Drug Interactions

• MAO inhibitors: Should not be combined with brimonidine due to a risk of significant blood pressure changes.
• Sedatives and CNS depressants: Can add to the drowsiness caused by brimonidine.
