How to use Azibac Capsule 250mg?

• Take Azibac Capsule 250mg once daily at the same time each day
• Swallow the capsule with a full glass of water
• Take on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after food, unless your doctor advises otherwise
• Finish the entire course even if symptoms improve within a day or two
• Do not take antacids within two hours of this medicine

Drug Interactions

• Antacids: Taking antacids at the same time as azithromycin reduces its absorption, so space them apart by at least two hours.
• Warfarin: Azithromycin may increase the blood thinning effect of warfarin, raising bleeding risk.
• Digoxin: This heart medicine's levels can rise when combined with azithromycin, so monitoring may be needed.
• Ergot Medicines: Combining azithromycin with ergot-based migraine medicines can cause serious side effects and should be avoided.
